  1. I just use the gym's steam room to relax after my shower /workout and the dry sauna to sort of dry off before changing.
  2. Perhaps he has to escort to pay that rent or he has a benefactor. I know several young 20s escorts who live in 4K studios/1 bedrooms in midtown manhattan.
  3. Growing up, my parents believed in feeding us steak everyday. Nowadays, I eat meat (beef, pork, chicken) once a week or rarely. I'm not strictly vegetarian, but i carefully consider what i eat and try to make smart choices. It's more from an ethical standpoint and partially for health reasons. There are so many yummy vegetarian options, that i don't really miss meat. And, when i do eat meat, it does not feel good to me from a physiologic standpoint. Anyhow, I do occasionally go out for chinese dim sum, where i just eat everything as it is hard to be picky in a chinese restaurant.
  4. His pics are cute... reminds me of an ex bf. Too bad he doesn‘t kiss...
  5. If dumbing down a sign with a “pictogram” means being universally understood, then yes.
  6. You are correct.. .but, it is a bilingual province.
  7. I think the OP is just pointing it out...However, in some countries, they usually use pictograms (i.e., a man walking thru a door) than resort to words. I know in Montreal, they were having an issue with placing the french words in a larger font above the english ones. There were issues also recently with listing traffic signs only in french... what would tourists do? It would take a while for them to figure out that a one way street was closed or something if they resorted to google translate. Fortunately, i grew up in Canada and am fluent in both, but what about american tourists who visit Montreal?
  8. It’s free in Canada for a low end version. My dad paid a little more to get a nicer one. It has brakes and a little seat for you to sit on when you get tired. He has one indoors and another in the car for him to use if he needs it. It is very helpful for those with mobility issues to get out and about.
  9. Avalon, do you have a Rollator? It is much easier and may help you get out of the house if you had proper walker that was fitted for you instead of a makeshift dining chair.
  10. that is a lot for someone to sleep next to you. Why not pay their hourly for 1 hour of fun in the evening and 1 hour of fun in the morning? I‘d hate myself for spending that much.
  11. This was an interesting article. Thanks for sharing! One situation i never get a clear answer to is when a patron needs to squeeze by to get to their seat, do they face forward (ass toward your face) or backward (ass toward the stage)? Different friends say one or another, but I‘m not sure of the answer. I think ass toward the stage is better that way they can apologize and look at you in the face. am I right? I‘ve seen it done both ways.
  12. I was a victim of ID theft. The person stole 45K from my checking account and opened up 10 credit cards. I had to file a police report for each card, and enroll in credit monitoring. It occurred after i had changed my address to my new one as i had just bought the condo i am living in now. The FBI was involved but won’t touch it unless it was more than 100K stolen. It took me about 6 months to restore my perfect credit score. I hate to be racist, but it was a black girl who did it. I have all the fake aliases that she used to open it up with and her 2 principal residences in Georgia where the furniture and things were sent to. I have filed police reports in her jurisdiction (Georgia) but the police won’t do anything more with it. I guess they are too busy.
  13. Damn.....how many days did you spend in Poland? I'm thinking it might be worth visiting along with Berlin.
  14. Wow... swedboy that link has lots of nice masseurs
  15. Have fun fedssocr!! Poland looks like a fun destination... may have to visit it soon !
  16. My biggest pet peeve are inconsiderate people who do not follow rules. People who litter and do not clean up after themselves. People who do not thank service workers. People who sneeze or cough without covering themselves. People who do not queue properly. People who take up 2 seats on the subway with their bag or those who put their feet up on chairs. Mom’s who always praise their children bother me a lot too.
  17. Wow... he is very handsome.
  18. Heirloom tomatoes and sweet corn are my favorite summer veggies.
  19. She lives in her primary residence on a sheep farm in a republican county in NJ. She only uses the apartment once or twice a week, or when it’s thanksgiving so she can see the floats being assembled.
  20. Oh, he is very handsome!
  21. Yes, it is nice to have first world problems She has a 5 bedroom on the upper west side and i guess it is hard to move all the mattresses and change them.
  22. Speaking of sheets, I recently learned one of my friends uses a laundry services that removes the bed sheets, launders and replaces them. I never heard of anyone outsourcing their linens like that. The same friend, uses a greenhouse service that brings in fresh plants every 2 weeks, using duplicates of the same cache pots and other planters to maintain consistency in her decor.
  23. yes, he does ooze sex
  24. I like your description, but for me, I usually just describe myself and what time/location I'd like to meet. I don't ask too many details/pics.
  25. This is a great topic. I'm learning a lot. My mother manages my money and does all the trading in my canadian accounts. When she found out I wasn't saving enough, she made me buy a secondary house in Toronto (booming housing market) - I put down 20% and she loaned me the balance. I only have Vanguard (in US) and TD (in Canada) as brokerage accounts.
