There are so many strange parts to this story.   Why were YOU having issues staying awake?   
(At that time I was still 73% zonked, and although I had remained conscious throughout, he claimed that it was I who had gone completely under!)
I know you said you're not going to answer "random" question - but I thinks this is not random at all and goes to the heart of your post.
 

A few things don't add up in your story!
Did you not know his physical stats or see photos before you met him? Or did he post fake stats and pics?
Why were you so "zonked"? Had you done drugs with him before he passed out?
And, if so, why in the world would you do drugs after you'd met him, heard his tale of woe, and seen his "dark and messy" apartment?
