LOL Exactly the question I ask myself. I'm leaning towards sentimentality myself. With any luck, tonight's episode of "Bones" will have an especially gruesome murder to keep the balance.

Tyger, I would have agreed with you a year ago. Glee is one of those programs that I couldn't stand the first couple of times I watched it. In a lot of ways it's like some bubblegum rock tunes--you know you're not supposed to like it, but you enjoy it anyway, at least in private.

Sue's got a great voice. I was hoping she would stay at the school but instead got sent over to the "enemy." It will be interesting to see how they develope that subplot. I'm still ambivilent about Coach B. I'm not sure if they know what they want to do with that character. Another interesting set of possibilities.

I second Toulouse's response. Eons ago BB blew it when they didn't recognize Netflix as a threat. Once they caught on, it was too late. Based on store closings in my area, BB is bound to close; but IMHO they did it to themselves.

For me at least the order of events is pics, written ad, reviews, contact. If everything fits, then we get together. Pics are important because that's what attracted me in the first place. It hasn't happened to me, but I would be really put off if the escort didn't look like his pics.

rvwnsd's got the only realy solution I can think of that would have much of an impact. Short of that is this forum and the sharing of information that goes on here.

I agree with your distinction between a role model and PR for the sake of commercialism. In athletics especially our society seems to have blurred the two IMHO.
