  1. @TruHart1 & @sexymonk : Thank you very much for your sweet words, but the truth is that it is easy to be good at something when you enjoy what you do!
  2. Thank you Gentlemen for all the praise... as the old saying goes: "It takes two to tango!"
  3. 10 more years.... Just kidding!
  4. Actually, I need to make a retraction ... Celebrating 10 years this year! I have come to the realization that I started back in 2008
  5. ...and I thought I was saying a lot by celebrating my 10th anniversary next year!
  6. Wait.... are we supposed to get paid too??
  7. Your assumption would make perfect sense, however, based on my experience, usually only 1 out of every 10 client offers reimbursement for that. They probably forget about it, but that's really no big deal to me, since I am already compensated very well for those trips, so I consider it "cost of doing business".
  8. I completely agree with BN. Generally, when I meet clients at a destination of their choice I fly on economy and there is always a possibility for an upgrade on the domestic leg(s). When travelling together, it is usually in the same cabin, which - up until now - has always been on business/first. At the end of the day, I really don't mind sitting on economy and that's what my initial expectation is, anything above (and beyond) that is just icing on the cake and much appreciated!
  9. It is rather frequent where I get hired for about 7-10 days with one client which generally involves in traveling with such person to a destination of his choice. I really enjoy those getaways! The longest I have ever been hired was for 1 month... We have visited 7 different locations in Oceania and with the exception of 4 days when he had to fly back home to take care of something, we were together the entire time.
  10. Hahahaha... bring it on! You wouldn't be the first who connects work with pleasure
  11. You are hopeless....
  12. I have no problem doing that. Actually, it happens rather frequently (talking about few day/1 week hires) when I help my client do some kind of housework, like trim the bushes (talking about the real stuff in the garden) or tree branches, perhaps fix something and get a rather surprised reaction when I offer to help with those things without hesitation. I always end up telling my clients: Hey, you paid for my time and it is full-service. It is only normal that those activities are also included in my offering...
  13. Let me see what I can possibly come up with....:D
  14. Boyfriend experience = what we did last time my dear but I don't want to explain this, if you forgot it we may as well just have to do a repeat!
  15. No, I am not.
  16. Sorry, I tried to hit 10 likes but it only registered one... maybe I should alert the mods?
  17. Very kind of you and likewise!!!
  18. I don't understand why ya'll need to use technology.... This is about "LOVE" and the best method of contact when it comes to that.... Has NOBODY ever heard of pigeon post?????? It's a lot more romantic IMO!
  19. Yes Sir, I believe that you have just described the best call to "action" here!
  20. Simple, text has a certain amount of character limitation and emails don't. Hope this answers your question.
  21. Interesting... I don't text with clients for the most part but it depends on the particular person too. Obviously someone I know for 10 years gets a different approach, but I don't even post my phone number in my ad. I actually prefer email interaction, since you can express yourself better and many times clients prefer to explain at lengths of what a great session would entail for them which I highly welcome because it makes my job easier and makes our encounter a lot more enjoyable in the end. Furthermore, I can attend to emails whenever I have time and don't feel pressure by unanswered texts and to top it all off, I also prefer privacy when it comes to giving out phone numbers, so it is definitely a two-way street.
  22. Not tacky at all. I do it all the time for my regulars as well as newcomers whenever I am out of town, which - due to my sometimes busy travel schedule with clients - happens quite often. I prefer to make sure they have a good time while they are in Vegas, since as you all know, hiring is rather a gamble sometimes
  23. I guess I am a softy, I will be here in Canada for about 10 days when this trip ends and with the exception of my US client who I have met here for 5 days and the local client I have for 4 days who always pays me in USD as well I had 1 day to do freelance and meet people online and I felt so bad that the CAD was weaker that I ended up charging them the same in CAD that I charge in USD which means the money I made was a lot less. Of course this never goes both ways, nobody has ever told me, hey, here is an extra $100 since the CAD is so strong compared to the USD... but that's just my soft heart...
  24. Your post just reminded me of this scene (starting at 43seconds):
  25. Or simply because they were curious and they camouflaged it with such behavior
