I have been to the woods about 7 times this year and it was nice. Their property is large and private and the guests were in all shapes and sizes and colors and had mixed interests. It gets busy on weekends but weekdays it really quiets down. Prices have gone up and I consider it a little outrageous for camping but I still go because I have a Motorhome and park in the general admission field so it’s only $35 a night. Hillside is another campground I have been to and wasn’t a fan of it, very clicky. The new place is Camp Out and I said I was going this summer but never made it. Friends are perm site members and they love it. It isn’t as far off the highway as the others campgrounds and closer to things like shopping and restaurants. As far as the other guests at any of these places I recommend checking the event schedule and going when a theme might interest you. Good luck!
