  1. So I met these two dancers at the Tawan Bar in Bangkok and . . . .
  2. And all inhibitions what so ever! [swoon]
  3. A Broadway supply shop? The costumes for The Producers had to come from somewhere.
  4. I clearly come from the wrong gene pool!
  5. With more miniaturization there’ll be one in a PA next. My tongue will smile for it.
  6. I’ve not allowed any Norton program on any computer in well over a decade. I once had to rebuild my hard drive and Norton said no. So much for Norton.
  7. My Chinese family and friends seem to photograph every meal. I think it’s weird but have learned to tolerate it.
  8. That creepy Mr Whippel was 40/50 years ago and I still haven’t squeezed the Charmin. Haven’t bought any either.
  9. Yes if your name is Will!
  10. Reminds me of Ian on Shameless.
  11. I’m betting that ain’t all that’s kissable!
  12. RickyLuis was an acquaintance when I lived in NYC but never a hire regretfully. A mutual friend who remains in touch with him tells me he’ll do an occasional bachelorette party but that’s about it. He’s still very much married and recently posted pictures of the family including his two daughters at some larger family gathering. I’ll never forget his winning smile and that fantastic body.
  13. I wonder what would have happened if I’d merely applauded. [swoon]
  14. Climb Every Mountain ?
  15. And I'm sure you'd like to apply the suntan lotion everywhere and often!
  16. I’m a sucker for costume dramas the earlier the better. So of course I latched on to Netflix new series Kinghtfall. It centers on the Knights Templar in XIII century Paris. In about episode 3 Pope Boniface the ? shows up played by none other than Jim Carter, Carson of Downton Abbey. He plays it with the same sort of haughter Carson displayed but with a flashier costume. But he does have a sort of papal nose. What a hoot!!
  17. Lip better have “beefed” up cuz with Fiona gone he’ll no doubt be the chief motivator of the plot(s). BTW I found his scenes with Fiona in the last two episodes to be very moving. And is Ian really back? Can’t wait for next season!
  18. It’s like the Cirque du Soleil of fucking!
  19. The “baths” were in the basement of the Ansonia which was a prominent old residence hotel dating from 1899. I used to rent studio time in one of the grand old apartments for access to a piano. I can remember sitting at a bus stop on Broadway in front of the Ansonia early one Saturday morning and remarking on all the couples leaving the Ansonia via the 74th Street entrance and grabbing a cab. So little did I know. Lol
  20. So true! Until she came to live with us here in South Texas I don’t think my mother-in-law had ever cooked a chicken he didn’t already know personally. She’s a very tiny reserved person but I cracked up when showed her distain for every chicken and chicken part in the huge HEB+ near by. Fortunately two guys I worked out with own a meat market. I was able to get her there within an hour or so of when their supply went on sale. I’ve also noticed that when we want chicken parts we’ll carefully dismember it a it’s joints while my partner and the rest of the cooks in his family take a cleaver and hack away.
  21. My Asian relatives eat them like popcorn. I don’t dislike them. I just find it’s too much work for too little pleasure.
  22. With all due respect, those of us who lived in lower Manhattan in the days after 9/11 know precisely the acrid smell of burning human flesh. It clung in the air for days. And it had no relationship whatever to the smell of meat on a grill.
  23. Which came first? The tattoo or the shorts.
  24. Because there’s no competition in NYC.
