I saw this Thor/Dan dude for a 60min massage in 2020, just before the Pandemic. Tall, lanky, and devoid of muscle, although with a comely face. “Studio” was a tiny walk-up in Little Italy. Massage was all pseudo-Swedish; no MT, and no HE. At the time he was toying with crypto and some software service. As dull as a beige West Elm area rug. Not worth the $150 or so that I paid. [end]

Who happens to deliver a vigorous, I mean INVIGORATING sports massage, in a massage style that must be Russian (I've has similar massage from other masseurs, notably the no-longer-available East-20s Anton). At the risk of being repetitive, at $160 for 60min, it's worth every ruble! Snag him while he's still in NYC. Best enjoyed by those having their own massage tables...because he does only out calls. UPDATE: PASS ON SINODAL I wished I had better news! I was desperate to report positivity. Alas, provider has lost ALL muscle tone, and is 25+ pounds overweight, traveling well into the realm of chubby. I don’t mean to body-shame, but the pictures currently on his RMass profile does not represent the product being sold. His body language too suggests he is uncomfortable with his present physique. Other than the above, the stretching performed by the provider and the observations he made about aspects of my inflexibility indicate that he had some substantive massage training. But…I just couldn’t get past the mis-appearance and the irregularity of the strokes. The smell of cooking upon entering the apartment and the cramped placement of the table in the bedroom did not ameliorate the situation. May be the silver lining is that this massage was not as bland as the massage I recently received from RMass Relaxing_touch, although both failed to deliver $200 of value. n.b.: Stretched is all about passive stretching, full stop. I was simply commenting that the NYC RMass massage market is no longer delivering good value and that better value, sans extras, can be had at places like Stretched. [end]

We, the buyers, really should consider pushing back on the upward creep to $300 for satisfactory massage technique with MT and HE. Note that I said generally, as some small percentage of reviews on RMass are negative or neutral. Also, quite a few RMass providers require contact via text and will not reply to the RMass msg channels…thus once again buyers of services are led here to CoM.

For the providers I tried (10-plus), I have found the majority of the RMass reviews to be inaccurate and uninformative, laced with vague adjectives and superlatives, and lacking in detail. It might be said that reviews of providers with, e.g., 20 or more, reviews have some validity. I’m dubious. One thing is clear about RMass: it generally screens out negative reviews. After several run-ins with over-priced rub-and-tug providers, I completely ignore the RMass and MFind reviews and consult the CoM community. Thank you fellas !!!
