oh man, i am so with you on this one! the moment an upsell enters the picture, i die a little inside, and i know that i will never see this masseur again. and, for the most part, i just want things to end right away.

i had one a few years ago where the masseur (who was about the same age as me, around 40) began to become graphic about a fantasy of him and i 'deflowering' the young kid who was in the same building entrance area where the masseur came to pick me up. that kid looked to me to be about 14. for a brief second i was supremely alarmed, like if i was being setup in some kind of sting operation. i immediately hopped off the massage table and just left without saying anything. i wanted to leave so quickly, i didn't even dress fully. i threw on my t-shirt and pants in maybe five seconds, and just grabbed my shirt, socks, underwear, jacket, and shoes in my arms and fled into the hallway, finding a stairwell to finish dressing in.

i had a massage recently where the masseur WOULD NOT SHUT UP. he was unbelievably chatty from start to finish, talking super-fast and not taking a breath. never had a massage experience like that before. he talked about what tv shows he was watching; his night out at last week at the bar; his various hookups with porn stars; recent changes to his diet; concerts he was going to; etc. none of this could be classified as friendly conversation, this was just him with the 'on' switch flipped. for every song that came up on his playlist during the massage he would be like "omg, i totally love her! what's your favorite betty who song?" and then he would be discernibly annoyed when i would mumble something like "sorry, i have never heard of 'betty who' and i don't know any of her songs". a similar thing happened when he brought up drag race. "who's your favorite this year?" and i said i don't watch drag race, and his response "you don't watch drag race! you have to watch it to support the community! i can't believe you're not watching it!" and it was clear that he wasn't just surprised that i don't watch drag race, but kind of pissed off about it. the whole experience was this horrible, nonstop firehose of words. every once in a while he would say something like "ok i need to shut up now." and then about five seconds later he would start again. definitely for me the most annoying massage ever. couldn't wait to get out of there.

nice to discover this thread! rimming and getting rimmed are my two favorite activities, BY FAR. i can get into it for hours, and i don't at all think of rim action as merely a precursor to fucking. for me, rimming is the main meal! what i am always on the hunt for is a fellow rim-obsessed bud, who will eat ass and swap popper hits with me for a long, long time...

i have. he was visiting my city last year and i went to his hotel for massage. he traveled with a table. he was friendly and looked great and gave a fine massage, and he even went about ten minutes past the time booked. the sensual / erotic part was fairly mild. if you are thinking you might get what you have seen in his videos (i was certainly hoping for that, especially since i have a body / look /age similar to many of his scene partners), at least for me it didn't happen that way. so while it was a totally acceptable experience, and he did everything just fine, i was still disappointed.

the continued existence of the esc has long baffled me. i went a few times in the late 90s and early '00s. it was always sparsely populated, decrepit, and utterly depressing. in discussing with some friends, i remember a few people saying it was mob-run, and it stayed open just for money laundering purposes. that explanation never made much sense to me, since even the most gentle audit would reveal that there were hardly any patrons, but maybe there is something to it, since i can't imagine what else has kept that dump open for so long. how surprising that nyc can't support a decent bhouse, while plenty of other cities have managed to maintain decent ones (r.i.p. san jose watergarden).

i used to ask masseurs 'do you mind if i do poppers every once in awhile during the massage?' i probably asked seven different masseurs, i think three said 'sure, go ahead'; two said 'i would prefer you didn't' (and i didn't); another was super enthusiastic and totally delighted, and we both did tons of huffing; and a last was highly offended; in fact, he was so offended that we both quickly realized that the massage could not go forward. since that last experience i haven't asked again.

if i had not been given a heads up about this, i would have simply turned around. that is wildly unacceptable. a massage is a quite intimate act, and requires discretion and privacy. a very, very bad look for a masseur to not appreciate this.

i agree with jonnychgo on all counts. had a nice massage with jackieginger. would also agree that the pressure was on the lighter side. nude and a little bit of mutual touch, but not more than that. cozy apartment for massage, and i liked the start and finish with a shower. not a clockwatcher at all; my massage went way over time. very friendly guy.

sorry this happened to you, but please don't be too hard on yourself. we have ALL done things that in retrospect were a bad idea; in fact, i would go further and say we have all done things that we kinda knew were a bad idea at the time it happened. i think any masseur demanding electronic payment upfront should be thought of as sketchy from the jump and avoided. not sure the advice to take them to small claims court is particularly helpful, since op doesn't know minor details like... who they are; where they are; or how they can possibly be served. tough to sue someone without those details! not to mention there is likely a filing fee in excess of what is even recoverable. in any event, op, go easy on yourself and chalk it up to lesson learned. thanks for sharing. in addition to warning us about these guys, i am always impressed by people willing to make themselves vulnerable. it's an admirable trait.
