Currently, Brazil, especially the two cities of your desired travel, have a very, very, very high incidence of COVID. A curfew is on in each of these two cities. My advice to you will be to postpone until the latter part of 2021, or go next year when a modicum of normalcy has occurred. Brazil is one of my most favorite countries, and when it comes to cities, Rio and Salvador (Bahia) are my two favorite ones.
