I viewed the first ten cities on this list and would not want to live in any. I live one hour away from San Jose/Fremont and about 1:45 minutes from San Francisco, a city that I love, but life is simply refreshing here on the coast in the Monterey/Carmel/Pacific Grove/Big Sur area. It takes me approximately 15 to 20 minutes to get to and fro in most instances; I abhor traffic and deadlock and crowds although I classify myself as a "city person"-- having grown up in Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri. I also dislike extremes in climates; thus I am satisfied and rather happy that I settled where I did, a place where I've live for some 52 years. The major drawback in terms of my living here and being gay is that there is no longer a viable "gay community" as there once was some 25+ years ago. But since "The City" is not too far away to which I don't mind driving-- that has been a blessing!

The new Weight Watchers' program is simply great. One can virtually eat normally and many, many foods if he keeps track of what he eats while at home as well as out. I've been on the new program and have done reasonably well if I keep track of the points per day which is not difficult. One can do this on his cell/smart phone. [...have to take my jackets and pants to have altered; ...have to purchase new shirts, for the neck size is gaping!]

"Back in the day" while at the Nob Hill Theater in San Francisco, I'll never forget viewing and listening to "Boys in the Sand." One scene was oh sooooooooooooooooooooooooo friggin' hot that I blew a wad inside of my shorts without even touching self. When I did at times frequent fast food places-- Jack-n-the-Box and In and Out Burgers in California were my favorite haunts. I did not drive to these facilities too often, but when my taste buds encouraged me, these two businesses would be considered as my favorite. Today I try NOT to go to any fast food place and eat healthily: very little processed foods, veggies and fruits, chicken and fish, and that's it. It has all been for the better overall, for we do NOT need lots of fats, sugars, and salt and loads of chems and preservatives.

Far too many guys who advertise on www.backpage.com post the Twitter or Facebook or Instagram accounts of others which I find deplorable. It's happened to me.
