I saw @cuban_boy's advertisement. all those beautiful photos and reviews, I was really going to hire himbut I saw that he is relatively new on Rentmasseur and I thought to see if anybody here had an experience with him. My first time in Mykonos was in 1983. I was 23. Gorgeous island, already crowded (it was September), very gay (but of course not EXCLUSIVELY gay), and I had an amazing time. Super Paradise beach was definitely 95% gay, too crowded for my taste. I will never forget how beautiful was Elia beach, very gay but quiet and unspoiled. And still there were basically pristine beaches (Panormos). The town was very crowded at night with lots of gay men, but fun, and still you could find restaurants and hotels VERY cheap even for me who was vacationing from Italy. I went back twice once in June 2000 (it was still beautiful even if it had changed) and last time in 2010, when with horror I realized what Elia beach had become, with disco music, pool, beach club and the whole thing. And of course it had become an expensive place. Never again. I prefer to keep my old beautiful memory.

Well, in Tuscany there are SO many absolutely charming place to visit and/or to live! Lucca is so beautiful. Same for Siena, Volterra, Cortona, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Pistoia etc etc,,,,,

Bizarre. I LOVE Rome as a tourist but I could never live there. Chaotic, disorganized, nothing works, and...not really fond of Romans in general.

A few more years working here and then I will sell everything and buy a property in a central region of Italy and go back to the motherland to REALLY enjoy life during my old age.

I lived in CDMX for 10 years in the 90s. I LOVED it and I loved even more the Country. It was quite dangerous and polluted back then but I was younger and definitely more carefree and there so many more pros to the cons. And of course I learnt Spanish while there (through Italian which is my first language it took me really very little time) and now I still speak it very well. I have been back few times since for work (I will be back in two months), and even if it is still charming and if still a piece of my heart is always there, I find the cons way too overwhelming. I would perhaps live in Guanajuato, Queretaro, San Miguel Allende instead....

I am sorry but NO. There are horrible horrible evil people (I am not specifically talking about Dobbs even if of course I reject with repulsion many of his political ideas) that when they die it's just a relief, and death doesn't redeem them. History is FULL of them.
