    Are we saying we can tell if we will be safe with someone looking at their photo, or are we saying we need evidence in case of a future situation - or leverage for something more sinister?

    You are correct, you can't tell if they're gonna be safe or not seriously, some very good-looking people are dangerous, some very unattractive people can be dangerous. It's just a safety precaution seeing who's coming to your home. If you have a security detail in tow, then they know who is at your home.

    I certainly don't judge clients on their looks----- ever! That would not be fair, even though clients judge us on our looks, but that's ok, you're the one that's hiring.  But I do know I've talked to some other Masseurs and they say they only want buff and ripped gorgeous men on their table to me, I'm like good luck with that.  Everyone is entitled to a massage 😁

     I don't know about other masseurs, what their idea behind  asking for a face picture is..... I have just heard so many terrible things about other therapists that don't do the job, etc.

    This guy is now based in Detroit and, like many providers do, he would temporarily move his ad to another city just to see what kind of reaction he will get, even though he is not physically in that city. I checked my hometown listings on RentMasseur on Thursday evening and he wasn't listed, then on Friday morning I checked again and his ad appeared in my hometown. So I texted him to schedule an appointment and he said that he was fully booked for the day, but he was planning to be back in my hometown next month. What made his response suspicious is that while his RentMasseur ad was listed in my hometown, his MasseurFinder ad was still listed in Detroit. So I sent him an email saying that I was in Detroit - I obviously lied - and asked if he was available for a massage that same day. He replied that he was available. So he had clearly moved his RentMasseur ad to my city just to test the waters, but he was actually 8 hours away from my city.

    I am not saying that he's unprofessional, I never met him in person so I can't judge. But if you see him listed in your hometown, be aware that he might not be there. He's just playing the game.

    He is a very nice guy...  In his defense, he was probably going to your city, and was seeing how the market is there.  If he didn't book enough to make it profitable to travel, he probably removed it.   I have communicated with him, really nice guy, and seems very professional.

    I’m one of the few who offers a high quality therapeutic massage across platforms. Ask any of my clients. I advertise on MasseurFinder, RentMasseur, RentMen, and others. I offer the whole range of services, but my massage quality never suffers when a client is hiring me for massage, even when they are also hiring me for more (time and rate apply to each).

    Agreed, it’s uncommon to find a good massage provider who advertises in all of those places, but we do exist.

    Yay!!!  Another one out there like me, who actually does the work.... 😁

    I was just thinking about an old bar and restaurant in West Hollywood called Numbers.  (I think that was the name).  My friends used to call it the "hooker bar" -- because escorts used to hang out there.  It was one of the nicer restaurants on Santa Monica Blvd.  It was always a fun place to sit and have a drink and food.  The activity at the bar was always "interesting", especially later in the evening.  Was just wondering if anyone else remembers that place or might have any fun stories about it.

    Great Food!!!

    Hey there,

    I'm an amateur photographer in the NYC area and am looking for models to collaborate with. I have profiles on all of the modeling pages, but wondering if anyone has some good tips! TIA!

    Would love to see some of your work...

    I always say:

    Thanks, but that's out of my budget.

    Very often providers will ask me what I was looking to spend. But I tell them I would never ask them to work for less than they feel they are worth and leave it at that.

    No one is going to work for less without providing less. So it's pointless to haggle

    Not true..

    Some do what you say, I'm sure however there are some that still care.

    I understand people have budgets, however I do work with people all the time within reason... And... I still give 110%  😁

    Yes, Booksy works very well for my massage clients. I include service descriptions, rates, automated self booking, schedule availability, and clients post unsolicited reviews directly to the site. You can even pay remotely online before or after your visit if you like. Everything is integrated. Even my Stripe card reader is integrated. I currently don’t leverage all of the marketing features but that has a lot of potential too. Overall, Booksy keeps me much more organized and saves me time, and saves clients time.

    A percentage of my clients really enjoy the streamlined service and use it enthusiastically. No texting or waiting for responses. All the info is there and it’s instant and convenient. Heck, a client can book me in the middle of the night while I’m asleep and I’m ready for them them the next morning.

    Most clients insist on the old school method of texting me 20 questions and then asking for an appointment, bla, bla, bla. More back and forth about availability….Then text again asking to reschedule, or cancel…I do it all for them on Booksy in much the same way they could do it themselves if they wanted to. All the info is there, so if they want to reschedule for another available time, they can just look and do it in a couple clicks.

    The savvy guys (and women) visit my site and find it much more convenient. They only text for very specific questions or to confirm something, or just to say hi. It’s really easy to use and makes communication higher quality because we’re only talking about things they actually need my attention to answer. Cuts down on a lot of unnecessary back and forth for those savvy clients.

    I don’t advertise every service explicitly, so clients still need to text me for that, but I still use the system to organize my schedule availability and contacts. I can even see under each client what they booked in the past and what they have booked in the future so that I can recommend services when they are inquiring again.

    If you want, we can start another thread on Booksy and other booking services. It’s a whole other topic worthy of discussion.

    Sure... Booksy is only in certain cities I see...

    If you’re looking for full service to occur in the same hour l but want half of that hour to be a massage or a massage “scene”, you should expect to pay the same hourly rate as hiring an escort. Equitable rates for equivalent services. If you want an actual full body massage that lasts an hour or more, expect to pay for that service on its own which may come to around half the rate of an hour of full service PLUS the full service rate, which may last up to an hour beyond when your massage time ends. Discuss with your provider of course. If you’re getting a deal, good for you, but I would expect to pay something along these lines:

    Example two hour session:

    1 hr massage = $150

    1 hr full service = $300

    Total = $450

    Example one hour session:

    1/2 hr “massage” = included

    1/2 hr full service = $300

    Total = $300

    Simon..

    Does booksy really work for you?
