Not to sound like an NPR or PBS underwriting credit... support for this site comes from our members. Meaning you... yes, you! Without your help, this site would fail to exist. Your financial support enables paying for the costs associated with keeping us up and running such as:
- Web Server Hosting (the physical computer running this site)
- DDoS/WAF Protection (security services that help keep the bad guys out)
- Domain Registration (the companyofmen.org domain name itself)
- Forum Software Updates (the software that powering the backend of the site)
- External Backup Storage (saving all of our data offsite in the event of a disaster)
- Post Office Box (the physical address used to send mail to us)
Members can choose to donate online via credit card or to send money through the mail (such as cash, check, or a money order). Regardless of what payment method you use, your information is SAFE and SECURE. We do not collect or store any personal information (such as your name, address, or phone number). If you choose to store your credit card information for recurring donations, it is stored securely at Stripe... our merchant account provider. It is not stored on our servers in any way. We transmit data using the TLS 1.3, which is the same encryption method used by large financial institutions to protect data in transit. Donations will discreetly show on credit card statements as being from "RADIOROB ENTERPRISES".
Please note: If you make a donation via credit card and the payment is initially declined, it's potential your bank denied the transaction as not being recognized. Your bank will typically call or text you to verify you were attempting the transaction. Once you respond, you can submit the request again.
