I hope this isn't too political for you men. Last year the Food Network held a contest for the next netowork stars. The winner received a one year Food Network show to be aired in their in-the-kitchen time frame.

The winner was a openly gay duo, but their show never materialized. In fact, they've seemed to have vanished. Anyone know what the back story is on these guys and their show?

I don't know but I'm not surprised, as the programming on Food Network has become so horrible that nothing surprises me. I used to enjoy watching good cooking shows, but they now have idiotic things like programs that show you how Cracker Jacks are made at the factory, and similar bullshit.

They're probably anti-gay too. Whoever is in charge there is has ruined that channel.

Actually, a number of episodes of their show did air on the Food Network but at a terrible time....on the Pacific coast it was around 5:00 or 5:30 PM on Fridays. I don't believe the shows were re-broadcasted in any other time slot.

I was able to watch a few and as much as I wanted them to succeed, I felt the shows were flawed. The guys always seemed to be trying too hard and talking too fast, lol. I believe they own and operate a catering business in the Chicago area.

Hope this info helps.

I recall catching a glimpse of the show early one Saturday morning and I was not impressed.

For me The Food Network jumped the shark when Iron Chef America was added to the schedule.
