I'm packing a big "gun" in the holster, but unfortunately I have only one bullet to shoot, and its buried in the lint of my left shirt pocket!

RIP, Don!

I'm not real big into moaning the passing of celebs, but Don Knott's passing hit home like none other since Lucy's. Damn, he's been a part of my daily life since forever, when Opie and I shared childhood.

Quote Andy Griffith:

""Don was a small man ... but everything else about him was large: his mind, his expressions,"

Keeping with the usual spirit of this site, I will note: Anyone else ever noticed the HUGE cock that hung down to the knees in Don's pants, especially in those tight cop pants?

I apologize to Don and his spirit, but it seems that physical looks and big cocks seem to be the only things of import on this site.

I was also unaware until I read your post.

What a sad day. I had the joy of working with he and Andy several times. Don was a perfect gentleman and a very funny man.

Remember him on the old Steve Allen show?

somehow the world seems a little empty tonight.

Rest in peace Don Knotts. We'll certainly remember you with a smile on our faces ;-) but, we will miss you ;(

Both of these gentlemen were over 80, so presumably they had a full and rewarding life. It is always sad when death takes familiar faces away from us, but it's not as if they were snuffed out in their youth.

I have always said that I want to live to 80. To die sooner will mean I've been cheated - to live longer would be a bonus.

WTF? This is such an assinine observation! Only the death of "young" people should be mourned as tragic, as all those old farts have lived long enough???? And only old people have had a full and rewarding life, as after all, no person who died at a young age, ever had a full and rewarding life while they were alive.

But then again, there are probably some who would feel that your still being alive has cheated the world, and that every day you wake up alive and go to bed alive is the bonus!

Just a short zigzag from being a total SNOOZZZZE!!!!!!! :o
