A good foot or more here in NYC. Makes me soooo happy I'm leaving in a week, lol.

Edit: Ok, I grossly underestimated. I was just told we got 26 inches at last count.

A mess

Well, this certainly wasn't the best day for travelling. It took be exactly 10 hours from Washington DC to Philly door to door - using taxi and Amtrak. The conductor in the Amtrak said that it was the most unusual day in his career and I believe him.

This is the second year in a row that I get this kind of weather ... probably I should come back in the summer.

RE: A mess

I love snow! Well...I loved it Saturday more than Sunday. I was treating myself to a nice dinner with an old friend at 11 Madison Park and was apprecaiting it blowing around. However, when I woke up in the AM and saw it all piled up on my windowsill at the hotel..that's a another story all together! Hehe...I knew there was a reason that I was a Texas boy! Just crossing my fingers that LaGuardia isn't crazy Monday afternoon.
