Popper bottles that won't open . . . hints?

I've got several bottles of poppers that I've not used in months, if not years. I can't get the bottles to open. Any hints on how to get them open? I've thought of running under hot water, running under cold water, using pliers, freezing them.

 

Ideas?

When I find something that won't open, a hit of poppers usually does it.

I bet hot water will work. Worst case, pliers. That may break the lid, but then you can pour all the poppers into one bottle (probably giving you the lowest common denominator).
