Here's a pic of one of the hunks from THE MOSTLY UNFABULOUS SOCIAL LIFE OF ETHAN GREEN, the movie version of the comic strip.

From what I can tell it's coming out in January or June 2006. Hmm. Well, I hope it's as fun as the comic strip is.

I'm disappointed - doesn't look like Jason Chang is going to be in it - and I didn't see any sign of Lucy either ...

There are several mentions of Jason Chang, and there is one Asian peripheral character who does not have any lines as I recall. It is a total piece of fluff, but it's not a bad film.

I'm personally disappointed that it doesn't appear that there will be a Bucky in the movie.

 

I did hear that Reichen Lehmkuhl [sp?] will do a brief cameo in someone's fantasy.

I seem to remember this comic strip used to run in The Advocate years ago. At any rate, according to the author's blog on the website, the movie is supposed to be coming out sometime around Christmas. But he wrote that back in the summer, so who knows? The pics of the cast on the website look terrific.
