Google has released their version of the Instant messenger application. It seems kind of late in the game to do so but whatever google touches seems to be successful.

 

Just curious as to how many here will use the new application?

I downloaded it a couple of months ago. It seems to have trouble with Norton apps (firewall, virus protection, etc). There have been fixes and workarounds on the Google groups page about it, but it's annoying to have to "fix it" every few weeks.
