So, I’m a total voyeur. I love the idea of watching a hidden cam vid (or cell phone vid) of clients with escorts. Obviously, there are privacy concerns. But, are there any guys out there that would video their session with an escort if someone were to reimburse you for part or all of the escort’s fee for their time?

The escort would have to be in on it, which kind of cheapens the idea.

I remember reading a Savage Love column where a women said she was turned on by hearing men using the bathroom. She wanted to know if listening in through an air vent in a public restroom was ok, where she couldn't see them and so they would remain anonymous to her, and they wouldn't know she was there or who she was. Dan emphasized that consent of all parties was the critical element that would make it ok, so as @gallahadesquire points out, that would include the escort knowing the video was meant for more than the private use of client who hired them.

Does one of the people have to be unaware of the recording for it to be titillating? Is that part of the kink?

Well, kind of. At least, I would want to know that the escort didn’t know I’d see it. So, like the client could say (if necessary) that the vid was just for him. But preferably, just a hidden cam by the client. And, for the record, it cheapens the thrill for others to see it. So I’d have no incentive to post the vids anywhere.

No, ethically it is wrong. Legally, of course, it is all wrong. You are lying to the escort. He thinks that he is making a video to be viewed at a later time by the client. The escort might be turned on by the thought of the client viewing it later (tho I can't imagine it would happen in a lot of cases - but it might). However that is not the situation that is being presented to him. The proper recourse is to lay it all out. If he consents his service fee may go up as the service has changed. Just my two cents.

I agree. Consent matters enormously, and what the OP describes only involves a partial consent.

Ok, I appreciate your input, and I think you all are right. I think the best advice is that some fantasies should just stay fantasies. Thanks guys!
