In communicating with him, there might be a glimmer of hope but he seems cautious in his communication which is understandable, so there may be nobtelling unless one of us takes the plunge ha.

Strange that he would say he's not taking on any new clients, and basically turned you away. A good businessman would have said something like "I'm booked through next week, but can see you after that."
