I'm not familiar with him but did know that James Daly was gay.

I didn't know he was gay, but that Twilight Zone episode is the only thing I've seen him in.

Its funny that we always act "surprised" when someone comes out, as if Gayness is a rare thing. It just shows that Gay is everywhere and can be Anyone, even a person we least suspect.

Just some thoughts before going under the knife.

 

#1. He didn't really come out on that episode of the Twilight Zone though in spite of the title.

 

#2. Wikipedia says he died of liver disease? You have to wonder if it was cirrhosis from drinking-of course it could have been a disease like hepatitis.

 

#3. I wonder if he was Jewish. The article mentions him going to a synagogue.

PS Speaking of going under the knife- the surgery almost might have had to be canceled. I slipped and fell down some wet steps. I hit my left flank right above my butt cheek. The pain was so intense that I was glad I had communed with nature a few minutes before otherwise there would have been a big mess. This happened Saturday and my flank still hurts. I figure if I had broken my back, they would have delayed the thyroidectomy.
