About 7-8 years ago, a buddy treated me on my birthday to the Calistoga mud bath experience.

 

The mud there is a form of volcanic ash made into a thick slurry with the mineral water from hot springs at the north end of Napa Valley.

 

I hated it. So did he. And, when you're finished, only traditional showers are available, so the mud stays with you.

 

So, no, I'm not into mud... and Im determined that I will never again be in mud, nor will mud be in my cracks and crevices.

They say it has therapeutic properties, but NO... not for me. The closest I came was when I had a stomach bug, and well, you Know !
