Yahoo substituting for Google?

My go-to browser is firefox. My go-to search engine is Google.

 

For some reason, any search goes to Yahoo search. Even if I put it in on googles website.

 

Anyone else have this problem?

Your browser may have somehow been reset to default settings. Go into Options, then Search in the left column. Make sure your default is set to Google, then you can select Yahoo! down below and remove it altogether if you want.

No, I did that. I finally restarted firefox with all the add-ons disabled, and it worked. SOmething hacked it.

I've had a love/hate relationship with Firefox of late. It seems every other release they create some new, mysterious problem that didn't exist in the previous version. Glad you got it working.
