Harry Meets Two People Who Interacted With His Mother More Recently Than He Did

 

In the documentary, Harry meets two landmine victims, Zarko Peric and Malic Bradaric, whom Diana met on her last mission to Bosnia—after she bid farewell to her boys so they could spend the summer holiday with their father. Noting the strangeness of this timeline, Harry tells Peric and Bradaric, “Well, you saw my mother more recently than I did, I guess.”

Like Harry, I have visited Bosnia and his mother was on my mind when I talked to people who suffered though that horrific war. There still are several land mine sites in Sarajevo. The signs warning people away are everywhere near a small airport.

 

William and Harry show their mother begging the press to stay away from her children during a ski vacation. They never blame the press for Diana's death.

 

I was expecting photos, and a bland presentation. Harry is the most emotional by far, especially about her final phone call just before leaving the hotel in Paris.

To be fair to Charles, his sons must know Charles' parents (Elizabeth and Philip) were relatively distant.

This is a beautiful tribute to their Mother - who was a world treasure. Diana was dealt an evil card by the Royal Business (and it is a busines) but Diana shone thru, and we continue to see her beautiful heart - in her boys.

She would be very proud of how they have grown into fine men.

 

Diana did much for our community - in her caring love for people living with HIV/AIDS during the height of the epidemic
