You cant avoid it.

But recognizing its beyond pointless, and theres absolutely no winning, helps me avoid it, and choose not to engage.

There's a difference between arguing to score points and win some mythical battle and arguing as a means of clarifying thought and furthering a discussion of a particular topic.

I can only imagine that you felt some kind of affinity towards the other member so the argument had more meaning.

 

I do not have any problem responding, but I am surprised that he took the disagreement so seriously.
