As a client, I worry about those things. Of course, I too worried about passing anything to my regular providers so I get tested myself. It goes both ways. While my masseur/escort might be clean what about the clients he just saw right before me that same day or yesterday? How clean are they? How many clients he's been with since his last test? I try not to focus on it as much but it is in the back of my mind for sure.

I worried more about catching crud on public transit compared to escorts.

LOL

I wish I could post a screen cap.

Because of layout, tablet size, orientation, my previous response, etc. ... the Forum Homepage latest update column on my device lists this thread, summarizing

"Have you ever gotten an STD from LaffingBear"

No. And that's why continued condom usage and knowing what to look for are important steps in protecting yourself.

PrEP is great, but it's not foolproof.

Agree 100% I play safe and I'm on Prep. The few exceptions are for clients that show me a recent test to show they are clean. I have never contracted anything ever, and intend to keep it that way.

Can we stop using the word "clean" to mean "currently free of STDs/STIs"? As is recognized in this thread, no one measure guards against everything, and all measures in combination are not 100% effective.

To the minor extent that I have had problems, it is been from hires who are new to the business. I agree with QTR about the word "clean."

The word clean has always bothered me too.
