Always in trouble.

Near death, fleeing burning Atlanta

Trapped in a cage

In a snake pit

Held captive by an evil Prince

And near death as her 747 crashes and sinks beneath ocean waves

She just sued Ryan Murphy and FX for unauthorized use of her life and image in Feud. Her lawyers are seeking a speedy trial due to her advanced age.

I think the lawsuits going to be thrown out. She's a public figure and she was not slandered in any way,. Ryan Murphy and FX can use the defense it was a dramatization of events.

Not always tragic!

Here's a twist! Having fun during breaks in the filming of Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte.

Olivia de Havilland can claim accurately that she never would engage in the kind of cheap gossip in public that was shown in Feud. The end result of Feud was worthy: showing a different side of Joan Crawford, but many of the real-life people came off less well. I doubt Ms. de Havilland believes she will win, but I am glad she took on Ryan Murphy.

On the eve of her 101st birthday, Oscar winner Olivia de Havilland filed a lawsuit, via her attorneys, against FX Networks and Ryan Murphy Productions for “unauthorized use” of the actress’s name and identity in the limited series Feud: Bette and Joan. Back in April, de Havilland was seemingly too busy living the good life in Paris to watch the show, tellingThe Hollywood Reporter that she “cannot make a valid comment about it.” Now, it seems, she can — and it’s none too positive. Her lawsuit, which can be read here, is meticulous and thorough. But it’s also rounded out by a delicious combination of sly refutations, intriguing bits of information, and totally appropriate reminders of just how distinguished and beloved of an actress de Havilland is. (Don’t worry: She’s got receipts.) The whole thing is fascinatingly Murphy-esque — like the beginnings of a juicy rivalry with just enough oomph to play as the ingenious setup to Feud season three. Drawn entirely from the filing, the seven points listed below about de Havilland should make for a fine starting point in that regard. Pay attention, Ryan Murphy.
