Let me flip the script here.

What should an escort do if he discovered the client has a criminal record? Does he go ahead and meet a potentially dangerous individual? Or does he decline the business and miss out on the revenue?

I wonder how some clients would react if they learned an escort performed a background check and learned similar sensitive information.

What if you find out by google or any other kind of search that someone who just made an appointment with you has a criminal record. Would you stick to the appointment or come up with an excuse not to go.

Define criminal record.

Hugs,

Greg

A criminal record or police record is a record of a person's criminal history, generally used by potential employers, lenders etc. to assess his or her trustworthiness. The information included in a criminal record and the existence of a criminal record varies between countries and even between jurisdictions within a country. In most cases it lists all non-expunged criminal offences and may also include traffic offences such as speeding and drunk-driving. In some countries the record is limited to actual convictions (where the individual has pleaded guilty or been declared guilty by a qualified court), while in others it also includes arrests, charges dismissed, charges pending and charges of which the individual has been acquitted.

Double homicide conviction, block & ignore. Sexual misconduct for urinating in public, who cares? Its all shades of grey so it just depends on what shows up.

good point!

Unfortunately in the eyes of the law in some states urinating in public might get you banned from voting, but thank God not from hiring.

I dont book an appointment until a thorough vetting and background check has been done.

Which website do you use?

I have a friend who is a private investigator and they do the search for me. They have access to things I dont. After nearly being murdered years ago I fully vet my potential escorts. I never ever divulge any data that I learn. I made that mistake once and they thought I was a cray cray stalker. Sometimes though it is hard to get valid info and on those I politely decline to proceed. Since vetting, the worse I have encountered were drug charges and dui.

I draw the line at felony convictions. Theft, assault, domestic battery, rape and sexual assaults, child crimes, drug convictions, murder but not necessarily manslaughter. I knew one escort that had a manslaughter conviction that happened because he was driving drunk and hit someone.

I would like to keep the government out of my sex life as much as possible.

They can just show you their Global Entry ID, you'll know their age among other things

@Kurtis Wolfe I know some folks who can't even go pass the first steps of this application form because they got caught, that's what I always think about someone who has a record, I wonder how many don't because they got away.

I wonder if Jefferson Sessions will suggest the DHS to add one question: Have you ever smoke pot?

Background checks can only do so much. It only displays a past history of crimes where convicted / arrested. It doesn't do anything about the ones where you weren't convicted / arrested nor does it cover future intent of a crime. If you want that, I suggest watching Minority Report.

Exactly, that's what I meant.

Guys with a record got caught, others got away.

I trust my own instinct and check they have good reviews, that's all.
