If I had to guess, the backpage ad is the fake ad. The rentmen escort ad has been registered with rentmen since last year.

Hmm ok. Unfortunately I don't think that helps me too much because he could still be legit on the rentmenad. But after my last experience of hiring someone with no reviews, I won't ever take that leap again.

thanks for saving me the grief -- the RM ads in LA are chock-full of these bogus ads, which is incredibly annoying.
