Very tough ticket. I took the same approach I did with "Hamilton." Six months from now...July 20, 2017. Two years ago July 20 was the performance after Pres. Obama saw saw "Hamilton."

 

I would love to hear how others handle hard-to-get tickets.

I really like the show and hope you will enjoy it as much as I did. (I've seen it twice)

The buzz on Evan Hansen started way back during its' out of town tryout at Arena Stage in Washington. It was clear then that a big hit was

on the way. It quickly sold out at Second Stage here in NY so when the transfer was announced many people jumped. The buzz on Hamilton

started at the backers audition. The Public extended the run 3 times and so you had to be at your computer ready to pounce the minute tickets went on line.

The reviews of Groundhog Day in London were some of the best I've read so it looks like another hard to get ticket is on it's way.

Thanks, @Cash4Trash. I admit to following Talkin Broadway's All That Chat less often now than in the past decade. I was aware of the buzz about "Hamilton," but "Dear Even Hansen" took me by surprise. I need to check in every day with the theater sites. Thank you.
