Yeah, cause the Itchy and Scratchy cartoons are so fucken acceptable, that violence and head chopping is cool, but fags getting hitched sucks

It's FOX, so what did you expect? Home of bad reality TV (which was lampooned in this episode) and sister to the FOX (Fair & Balanced) NEWS Channel. The majority of folks who GET the SIMPSONS would not have been offended. They (network) probably wanted to head off a possible tirade (like the recent Spongebob nonsense) from the religious wrongs.

 

I thought the episode was a good one. Although I thought they were heading into transexual territory for a minute with the male/female pro golfer storyline, which would have been even more daring/edgy, even for this cartoon.

 

I'm a forever fan of this show.
