Ok here is kind of an odd question. Since the technology is way better now I have been paying for stuff with tap and go on my phone. I use Samsung pay but could use Android pay if needed. I prefer Samsung because I get points for gift cards. Anyways, has anyone found the strip or even better downtown tap and go friendly? I have a lunch at Aria and dinner planned at Bellagio that I need to pay for.

Hugs,

Greg

P.S. This is a non working holiday. Sorry.

Well, the whole point of Samsung Pay is that it's compatible with almost all payment terminals since it can replicate a mag strip signal. In Vegas I have found that most cashiers are at least aware of contactless payments and will accept them if pushed. That said it's always worth having a physical credit or debit card as backup.

I always carry the card just incase and I've had a couple just incase here at home. Im finding the mobile pay awesome though with not having to fumble with a card or having to ask if the terminal is chip ready. Tap, take my shit and go is wonderful! Viva la technology!
