This evening I recieved an email from a possible client who had an AOL email address but shortly after I replied it was bounced back saying that the reciever isn't excepting email from me. Now if you are going to use your AOL acct. to send and recieve email messages please make sure that you click whatever buttons you need to click so that you can recieve replies. I hope that the person who sent me the email will see this and do as I suggested if he wants to recieve a reply. Just a friendly reminder for those who use AOL.

How stupid is this? Whats the point of having e-mail if you only recieve mail from those you are EXPECTING to hear from?

Talk about the ultimate spam filter..........

Seaboy, if the users are on AOL, all they have to do is go into Settings->Mail and Spam Controls->Sender Filter and make sure that they have not blocked mail from non-AOL members or "people they don't know." You can check off "allow all mail" or use a custom list blocking only specific people. With that said, I have had mail bounced back to big companies like Dell Computer because of AOL server problems. But this does not happen often.
