Are there a lot of sting operations against escorts in Vegas?

I was wondering if anyone has heard about a lot of sting operations going on against escorts in Las Vegas right now. I'm trying to make arrangements with someone and I was told that he could no longer meet clients in their hotel rooms and we would have to meet at someplace like Hawks or The Apollo. Has anyone heard about this going on? Thanks.

I live in LV and to the best of my knowledge nothing really has changed. Many escorts who do hotel calls prefer not to meet the guest in their room as it could be a sting. Another reason it could simply be a hotel security issue where the escort needs to be with a registered guest to get past the room elevators.

 

To meet at a seperate location sends a red flag up about the escort.
