The Dallas Morning News is reporting this morning that the Dallas police department conducted a sting operation on a local man who advertises on masseurfinder.com. There's a lot more to the story and the individual masseur but in the interest of public notification I'd recommend all massage therapists and clients take heed. Hope everyone has a great Halloween.

I assume this is the article the OP is referencing: http://www.dallasnews.com/news/news/2016/10/28/man-whose-home-searched-dallas-lawyers-slaying-arrested-prostitution-charge. Apparently, the police figured that if they couldn't find evidence of foul play, at least they could arrest someone for offering to engage in "deviant" sex for $300.

There's more to the sting operation than just an arrest for prostitution. Also involves a murder investigation but nonetheless the DPD may be targeting others as well. You just never know.

Yes, you never know but it sounds like just a specific case.
