Sorry. I didn't mean to impugn all anabolic steroid users. There are obviously legitimate reasons to prescribe anabolic steroids, which is why they're FDA-approved. I was mocking the guy who felt he was so smart that his medical knowledge exceeded that of the medical community.

I suppose your question is rhetorical. I'll answer it anyways. There is a feedback loop in the hypothalamus. When testosterone levels go above certain levels, it directs the pituitary to stop the LH pulses. As for how regulatory or legal officials know, if the person being prescribed the testosterone hasn't had his levels checked, or if they've been checked and they're in the normal "reference range," the use may be considered illegitimate.

You're right, it doesn't make any sense. The program does emphasize this and they even have a diet plan for lifelong maintenance but I suppose many people have the attitude that it does not apply to them, just to the others.

 

Either that or they are lacking in willpower.
