I think that it is great that many of you have given to the charities that are helping those in south east Asia but I hope that you are not forgetting those in need in your areas. It is true those in south east Asia are in deep need but many food banks and shelters are also in need here at home. There are many that are struggeling every day to help those in need and barely make it day to day themselfs. There is a little saying that I like charity begins at home. So don't forget those in your own communities.

Hugs,

Greg

Greg, Very well written. I too hope people will continue to give to their local organizations in addition to, not in substitution of, the relief fund in Asia.

Speaking of the Asian tragedy, President Bush has just signed a law, bill, whatever making all donations to this cause deductable for 2004 taxes as long as they are made before Jan 31.
