One of my brothers gave me a three month membership to Net Flix for Christmas and last Sunday I activated it with a slate of 12 films from their Gay and Lesbian selection.

Tonight I had a friend come over. We ordered from California Wok and screened three films; Yossi & Jagger, A Home At The End Of The World, and You'll Get Over It

The first film is based on a true story of two Israeli soldiers, and I thought it was pretty good. It's subtitled. The acting is quite good. It is just over an hour in length.

The second film has been discussed here before. Colin Farrell is one of the stars and he gives what I think is his best performance (even better than Tigerland which I thought was very powerful. IF you are a Colin fan, don't miss this. As always he is stunning to look at, but you will fall in real love with him is this film.

The third film is a French coming of age story of a high school swim team star. The actor who plays the lead is very good as are the supporting cast.

I enjoyed all three films ( and the healthy Chinese food, my favorite being the shrimp and asparagus dish.)

The DVDs go in the mail tomorrow while I await the next three on my list.
