You gave him the money up front! Well, you'll never be that stupid again. I have not been. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Just for the sake of objectivity:

The OP joined this group yesterday. His only two posts have been one asking about Vince Williams yesterday, and one reporting this theft today. The account of Vince Williams' scam will have a lot more credibility when the OP has contributed more to the forum.

Or ...when a review is submitted and the escort has had an opportunity to respond.

Thank you for the due diligence. As I said above, we will need a careful consideration of this event before we punish Vince (who I do not know) by hurting his rep. If there is any one else who does know Vince, I would like to hear your take on his honesty and reliability.

Wasn't expecting the blowback..the situation I described did in fact happen. And also, what's the issue with newbies on this site? Is there number of posts or escorts needed to be taken seriously?

In any eventnhe texted back 20 minutes later with an apology and asked me to stop by tomorrow but I'm not taking another chance. I met up with Gabriel Cross Sunday who exceeded expectations (read my review) so if there are any other guys on that level, let me know.

@Pocketdaddy sorry that situation happened to you.

If its an escort you've never met before, I think the best solution is to place the money on a table where you can both see. If an escort does ask for money upfront then either tell him you'll give it to him at the end when the session is over to avoid these kinds of scenarios. Or if you want to be more fair, give half now and half at the end, never the full amount.

Thanks man, appreciate the advice.

Am I alone in thinking something does not add up here? Left alone... and on your own... in his place, and then told by text to leave?

Eh?

He rents a room in a house here in DC.....yes, it was weird but as I mentioned before it happened. Also, it was a bit creepy so I wasn't going to walk through three levels of the house looking for him.

I'm sorry for your bad experience. There's obviously no set number of posts required in order for a forum member to be taken seriously; members develop credibility over time. Just as we're all familiar with escort scams we're also very familiar with vindictive clients. As forum members we have no basis on which to establish the credibility of first time posters. While we can take your caution under advisement we may not be so quick to accept damage the reputation of an escort based on a single anecdote from a brand new member.

I could see this happening in other circumstances but why would he leave you in his place though? Seems odd.

I have no idea

I was a newbie a year ago and, YES, if you come in swinging as you enter the forum, be prepared to be challenged. It doesn't mean that all of us don't believe you, it just means you will be expected to prove it - which many of the other members do by submitting reviews under their handle. Goes to @Nvr2Thick's point.

Personally, I appreciate the warning, but I won't fully act on it until I see your review on Vince and I see his response or lack thereof. I would think that Daddy would let you submit a review on someone who took your money and ran - seems to me like you actually technically met the guy and he flaked right after.

Btw, since you ask for others' perspectives, I will say that I have attempted to hire Vince and he was a bit too scattered for my taste in communications. Hence, I skipped him after texting back and forth a bit. That's not enough to give him a bad mark, but makes me take your warning a bit more seriously. Hopefully it was all a bad and expensive misunderstanding. :(

Repeat after me: "We do not punish" We are not Judge, Jury, nor Executar.

Thread Locked.
