Morning all. Last week during a routine

visit to my doctor I mentioned that while

I wasn't having erectile disfunction I was

having some "staying" power issues. The doctor

eagerly suggested viagara and said it had worked

for him (although he said he was only using to

see how it worked). In any event I've used twice

and nothing, nadda, zip. Anyone else with similar

experiences? Something I did wrong (wasn't drinking

or on anything else). Thanks, Rocky

My experience with Viagre - Sometimes it work - sometimes it don't. It was only after the fourth time using it that I obtained a full erection. Even now it is hit and miss.

 

The funny thing is the doc gave directions on the bottle that said "Take one pill daily" and they only give me six. When I asked he said he didn't know how else to put it.

It is best to take it on a empty stomach. The instructions say that taking it after a fatty meal may make it ineffective. Almost everyone reports a strong effect from it.

Rocky, there was a very long thread on this subject quite some time ago. It may have been lost in a web site meltdown, but u could try searching for it. The thread compared Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis.

 

Now for my 2 cents. As someone else noted, better to take it away from fatty foods and food in general. It can also take a few times to work, and for some people it doesn't work at all. My only side effect was a mild headache, which didn't last too long. Viagra didn't do much for me. So I then tried Levitra and that worked. Some doctors say they're the same, but not necessarily true. One may not work for you; the other may. I also had no headache with Levitra.

 

The restrictions, like fatty foods, and the possible side effects are the same. You also take it the same way, and it lasts about the same length of time. The standard dose for Levitra is 10mg. Go to the web site. At one time, there was a free sample coupon. Of course, you need a Rx with the coupon. Cialis is the one that lasts up to 36 hours. Have not tried that one. So don't give up. Just try something else.

Probably the most common mistakes with Viagra are #1 taking it after eating, and #2 taking it too soon before the sex. Sooo, if you're planning to have sex in the evening, take it BEFORE dinner. Don't worry, it'll still be working hours later. Better to take it too soon rather than too late. Have you tried taking it before dinner?
