Not happy though that they protested the extra security measures. I get their point but I think the added security was essential and a sign that they are cared for and respected.

Hell, yes, the additional security was indeed necessary after what happened in Orlando a few weeks back. Many folks are still reeling over this and want something definitive done about those friggin' guns

which are sold to those who are up to "no good!" More security was definitely needed in the purported "gayest city" in this country of ours!
