I was going to try to meet up with him in NYC when I was there last week. When I asked for a confirmation (via FaceTime or picture) that it was him, he just ignored the text and never replied back. Therefore I just passed him by. If escorts don't have legitimate reviews on this site to confirm who they say they are, I'll always question them to confirm their identity to their ad. There are just too many catfishes (bait and switch) out there these days, and I get tired and frustrated with fakes, phonies, and shams. I work hard for my money, and I prefer avoiding surprise and disappointment when the guy in the ad is not the one that answers the door.

catfish:

catfish is someone who pretends to be someone they're not using Facebook or other social media to create false identities, particularly to pursue deceptive online romances.

"Did you hear how FFDave got totally catfished last month?! The fox he thought he was talking to turned out to be a pervy guy from San Diego!"

Absolutely.

The percentage of bogus ads and reviews versus legitimate ones seems terribly high. Many fake ads are obvious while some are clever.

Some escort's don't like being questioned about their ads. It either hurts their ego or exposes a fake ad.

"How dare you question my integrity!"
