Has anyone every had a problem with this? Last week I couldn't access Daddy's or A4A and got a "This Site Blocked Due to Content Filtering. I thought it might be the router but nothing has changed. I could still access the sites through my iPad (using same router).

Now this week I have no problem accessing those sites but now am having a problem getting and receiving messages from iPhones. (Everything is synched between my Mac, iPad, and iPhone.) No matter who I try to send a message to it comes back with ###-###-#### is not registered with iMessage. I Googled that message and now the discussions.apple.com site is being blocked due to content.

This is quite perplexing.

As much as I love OpenDNS, its really only useful if you have a static IP address. Switch your DNS over to Google's servers.

8.8.4.4

Kurtis,

What is it and why did I suddenly end up with it? It only seems to affect one router and I'm (as far as I know) the only person who has access to that router.

There are viruses/trojans that will hijack your DNS settings. However this would be device specific... Though I've never encountered it on a Mac, only on Windows PC's.
