With the thread about sports and the 9/11 memorial thread, this kind of made me think.

 

New York sports fans will already know this:

Vince Scully, the Hall of Fame broadcaster for the Los Angeles Dodgers during the game today with St. Louis, tells the unusual stats of yesterdays N.Y. Mets game with Philadelphia.

The game was tied after nine innings yesterday (9/11/04) The box scores read

Philadelphia, 9 Runs 11 Hits

New York, 9 Runs 11 Hits

 

The game ended in the 13th inning with a final score of

11 to 9 Philadelphia. Does that make the hair on your arms stand up?

That is a bit strange.
