I saw this the other night at Lincoln Cente. A very enjoyable evening at the theater! It's loosely -- very loosely -- based on Jack Johnson, the African-American boxer, and is wonderfully acted and directed. The boxing scenes are choreographed, rather than actual fighting. Only 90 minutes, without a traditional plot or story line, and highly recommended.

This is fantastic. Audience enthralled throughout. Great theater!

I agree. Took awhile to see it with my schedule but well worth it.

 

A terrific production. Well written, acted and directed.

 

Alas it ends it's run on Sunday, May 1.
