I recently reached out to a well reviewed/known escort in my area. When booking an appointment with him he seemed hesitant as to whether I was legit or not. Given his status in the community I had no problem paying for two hours in advance. Big mistake, he was a no show. I gave him a second chance and he was a no show again. After I originally paid him, he sent me his face pic which he does not post with his ads, and it is obviously his body attached to it, so I was confident that he was sincere. He has had the same body pics in his ads for five years, so I have no doubt it is him. The problem I have now is that I think it only fair to warn others of my experience, but since I texted the escort he now has my cell number which if he googled he would know where I work etc. Any suggestions on how I could warn others? I did text him after the second no show and asked for a refund. He has not replied.

I'm not sure how to solve the OP's problem. If the escort breached his end of the agreement and took your money, he's probably not going to be googling you or thinking about you at all, except to avoid you.

I'm sick of story after sorry of extremely well-reviewed escorts scamming people. It undermines clients' confidence in the review process, which in turn hurts the overall escorting industry. A sinking tide sinks all ships, or something like that. Something must be done.

Do a review.

Hugs,

Greg

Generally, you can't do a review if the session didn't happen. Perhaps Guy Fawkes would make an exception.

I suggest posting the name here.

I would say dont, because ddr mentioned the google thing, what if he joins the forum and reads this? Perfect black mail. DDR I would suggest you delete that to protect yourself. I apologize for butting in, however, I do not want to see you with any type of drama especially since he fucked you over not once but twice.

I agree. Post his name (if allowed) Let him defend himself. If he doesn't, then we know to stay away

Nothing can be done, There will always be unscrupulous people if we allow them to thrive and flourish. NEVER pay upfront. That will at least force the dude to meet you if he has any sliver of good intention, and really needs the money. Once you start to believe that there really are people out there looking to scam and cheat you, it should be easy to withhold prepayment. NO dick is worth being robbed for !

Note, it's not necessary to join the forum (i.e., become a forum member) in order to read posts. It's only required to post to the forum.

Yes, but either way if he is going to mention his name he should be deleting the whole google thing, I agree 100% with you.

Just so I'm clear ddr. Are you asking about the rules of this site with regards to naming people and writing reviews? Or are you looking for ideas on how to get the word out without any chance of retribution?

Because if it's the latter... It isn't going to be easy. No matter how you do it, unless he is scamming so many people he can't keep track, he is going to know it was you.

Tempting. But possibly against the rules here - I am not sure. You could also PM the name to forum members who'd like to know. That is more discreet.

The best advice I can give is IF said escort's name comes up in the Forum, PM the person who asks about him....word of mouth will carry said information forward. Word of mouth is a big deal in the escort business...I am guessing men like Mike Gaite, Keith Hardy, Tyler & Ace, Juan Vancouver can attest to the power of word of mouth....

Actually, how did you pay the money, since you didn't meet in person? If it is a credit card or a paypal payment, you could put a stop on it and possibly have the charges reversed. The services were not rendered!

To give you an idea about negative "Word Of Mouth" power, ddr, I have 3 words for you--Billy & Seth Santoro.

Agreed. Word of mouth is powerful. I wish I had the power to command $500/hr and get it, shooting almost every week, be booked up doing club appearances and launching my own porn site backed by one of the most powerful gay media companies around. They're both great guys and I hope that some of you, someday, get to spend time with them, instead of relying on the opinions of people who haven't, never will, or can't.

Here's my read on you. You came on here, already expressed you don't hire escorts. All you do is talk shit about people and offer nothing positive to any discussions that take place. This is an anonymous board, and I choose to make myself visible because I'm already proven, well known and think of it as a duty to pay it forward. Considering all that, I think the credibility between us has been established.

In the spirit of what this place is supposedly supposed to be all about, I endorse people who are of quality that I know of first hand and who I think are worth getting to know. You only follow me if you are a fan, so thank you for that. I encourage you to continue to watch, and record anything I say and feel free to post it anywhere you'd like. Because if there's no video, it didn't happen, and I'd never say anything I'd be ashamed of being posted later. Catch me on periscope live from London! CHEERIO!

I'm sorry this has happened to you, ddr. I can't help now. But my advice for you is to use another phone or another number for this hobby. You should definitely look into getting a cheap pay as you go phone or a Google Voice Number.

BaronArtz, I sent an interac email transfer which there is no going back on. Lesson learned on that one!!

I feel for you, sorry this happened to you. I know we are all curious as to who would did this and it would be great for other clients to know, however I think you should cut your loses and not cause yourself anymore unneeded drama. This guy has caused you enough pain, don't give him fuel to cause anymore, based on your google reference its sounds as if you could risk losing a lot more then $200. With that being said if you want to privately message anyone you know about this person I say go for it.

Going forward you should get a burner phone (I use TracFone). It cost $20 to purchase at Target and every 3 months I purchase time for another $20... all cash transactions. The interface sucks but since it is not my primary phone, it doesn't matter

. The problem I have now is that I think it only fair to warn others of my experience

I still can't believe that with all the incredible collective wisdom on here that we can't come up with a way to tackle this problem. To the best of my knowledge, there is no system in place to identify scammers or bad escorts. If an escort screws you over, there's basically no way to warn others about it. The industry should not operate this way. We have blacklisted Johns on the escort side. Why can't clients build the same list?
