Just saw a new show playing at the Paris Casino (opened this month I understand) while in Las Vegas. "We Will Rock You"

The story is kind of silly but if you are a fan of QUEEN then by all means go see it. Great cast, some fantastic voices and the prodution values are terrific.

Also saw "Mamma Mia" another great show and "Zumanity"

You know I think the problem with Zumanity is camparing it to other "Cirque" shows. Had I not know that they produced it I belive I would have like it more. But it is still entertaining (and the Boy on Boy act IS back in the show....god would I love to wrestle/tango, or what ever you care to call their routine, with that blond!!!!!)

I too liked Mamma Mia. The last time I saw the show was in June, I thought it was pretty good as well. You know you're absolutely right about Zumanity. I was with a friend this past Monday and I think he saw the show recently. He asked me if I had seen the show. I'm not sure what I said to him. He convinced me to give Zumanity a try and see what I think of it. The funny thing is I got reminded last night that I had seen it at the beginning of the year. Its hard to remember things nowadays. Life can be very stressful at times. Still I'm planning on seeing the show sometime next month in Vegas if I'm lucky enough to find the time to do so. I understand Zumanity is closing down shortly. Cirque Du Soleil sometime next year are planning on starting a new production. I think they want to capture the genesis of what made them popular so many years ago, where the moms and dads can bring the children and have a good time. It should be very interesting to say the least.

I think the biggest suprise for Broadway could be when the production of one of the greatest rock groups of all time Pink Floyd will commence sometime next year. I'm not sure about the exact time frame. The participation of Roger Waters is guaranteed. He is a genius of a musician and song writer. I've been told he is very much a perfectionist as he demands the best from those who choose to work with this underated figure. He will write the music for the production. Which means as always Pink is still not talking to Floyd. Roger Waters nowadays spends most of his time at Abbey Road Studios working on rough cuts for a future potential solo album. He will put his solo career on hold to begin focus on the new production. It would be nice to see David Gilmour involved in the equation for the upcoming show, who knows maybe Pink and Floyd can settle their differences for once and for all. His guitar work on Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell and Learning To Fly are absolutely classic. I'd be interested in how this batch of songs turns out next year when Mr Waters takes a look at ways to improve the songs. Still I hope the production itself does well. It would be interesting to see what ideas the production team comes up and I hope Mr Waters revamps some of their earlier work. Welcome back Pink Floyd.
