Hard to see it, but this is the rainbow that just appeared after the tornado moved by the house....

pretty rainbow :) after a tornado! :eek: yikes.. guess its a way for nature to say, sorry I just wiped out a small town, heres a smile to make you all fuzzy inside :p

NC has had a very busy weather day....Raleigh-Durham/Chapel Hill has spent most of the afternoon under various tornado warning. Down here at Ft Bragg we had 2, with one confirmed touchdown.

 

Hail in the Triangle was 1.25 to 1.5 inches in diameter.

I see rainbows as Mother Nature's wink at her gay progeny.

 

Hope weather improves down your way, Kur. I'm in NYC this week and we are bracing for those storms to hit us in the next 2 hours.

hmm guess it would be rubbing salt to say its 68 degrees right now, headed into the 80's by the weekend?:p

It was 76 here because of the rain. Thankfully the storms were moving at 70mph.

 

Funny side note--straight line winds on I-95 at marker 47 were strong enough to blow high profile vehicles off of the highway
