Let me try to understand better. Are you saying Will Smith should not be a target because his young fans do not know about his slightly gay reputation, slightly homophobic rep within the business?

Is THAT what you got from - does have a slightly homophobic rep, not one that's seeped into influencing young fans, more "inside" the biz But "if" a celeb DOES weild some influence, esp with young people struggling with their sexuality, and they espouse something that is in direct conflict with how they lead their private life, then they do deserve to be outed. ???

I am saying HIS homophobia has remained under the radar but if he or any celeb of influence to young fans DID choose to display or espouse it openly and that celeb is "privately" gay that that celeb does deserve to be outed. That's what I said

Tonyko, Sorry I did not get it the first time. My mistake.

Actor (to use the gender neutral term). Was in Magic Mike XXL and TV show Gotham, among others. Wife of actor/rapper Will Smith (formerly of Fresh Prince of Bel Air, now in movies), has teo children with him.

And don't forget she played the newspaper columnist in the (terrible) remake of "The Women." The lesbian columnist. Type-casting?

Saw it listed on IMDB but know nothing about it. The character she plays in Magic Mike XXL is bisexual, which is a possibility people never seem to consider unless someone calls themselves that.

Honestly, I don't care who Will and Jada fuck (as long as they're not underage) or if they fuck at all. Just like I didn't about Jodie Foster or Rock Hudson or Richard Chamberlain. (My law school roomie grew up in the same Manhattan co-op as Hudson, so I knew about his orientation before the public at large did.)

The guy who was elected to run social events for those of us in my first year section in law school (all of our classes but one had the same group of people) once started to rant about another section member being a gay activist. Everyone within earshot stared at him blankly and shrugged, and he backed down. This was in the late 70s.

"The Women" 1939 is among my favorite movies. I watch it at least once a year. (Even Norma Shearer, a dreadful actress, is eminently watchable.) Camp before we knew what camp was, thanks to George Cukor.
